Online Facilitator
GPI US is seeking a Facilitator who is interested in leading our GPI US sessions with Japanese high school students. The Facilitator will lead students in-class and/or online sessions on topics such as Empowerment, Leadership, Perspectives, etc. Interest in global education, Japanese culture, and experience living abroad is a plus.

Duties:
Assisting in design and modification of curricula and lesson plans to improve student communication skills, critical-thinking skills, problem-solving skills, and cultural and global awareness.
Attending any pre-program orientation meetings with GPI US staff and/or Discussion Leaders
Leading classroom management and guiding students through small group activities (may be assisted by Discussion Leaders)
Facilitating discussions, engaging students, and taking direction from GPI US staff when applicable.
Being able to revise lesson plans on the spot depending on the students’ ability and time constraints.
Being fully prepared for the program
Maintain responsive and open communication with GPI Staff throughout the program.
Requirements:
Interest in education, international cultures, and global issues.
Experience teaching Japanese high school students (preferred).
Fluent English speaking and writing abilities (No Japanese language skill required unless otherwise noted in program details).
Commitment to all program dates/times
Ability to confidently lead and facilitate sessions.
Flexibility and being able to make quick, educated decisions.
Knowledge and experience in science, technology, engineering, environment, entrepreneurship, and math are preferred, but not required.
Valid work authorization (No Visa support)
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Proficiency in navigating Google Docs and Slides
Bachelor Degree in a related field
