GPI US is seeking a Japanese Speaking Guide (JSG) who is interested in assisting our students in navigating the details of their program in the San Francisco Bay area. Interest in global education, Japanese culture, and experience living abroad is a plus.


Most programs require the ability to commit to 2 to 8-hours for one or more days.

Spring 2026 Programs


Program 1: Teacher Inspection

You will be assisting 2 teachers from a school in Japan who will be observing classes and activities as an inspection visit for their upcoming school trip

March 24th – 27th – approximately 8 hours per day, starting and ending in Berkeley, with the 24th and 27th including SFO airport arrival pick up and departure


Program 2: Student Group

March 25th – Assist with greeting the group at SFO airport and bringing them to their local host school

April 1st – Assist with bringing the students to SFO airport for departure from their local host school


Compensation: $35/hour
