Columbia Business School’s Venture for All® Program

This summer, 5 students from a private high school in Tokyo and 5 international students from across the globe will be traveling to New York City to participate in Columbia Business School’s Venture for All® program.

Students will be living in international housing next to campus and be taking part in two class sessions a day at the Columbia Business School. While still in Japan, they will partake in a pre-class session in June and begin thinking about new venture concepts. They will then develop their venture as they learn new business models consistent with “lean” venture planning methodologies including problem-solution identification, product-market fit, customer discovery, in-depth industry and market analysis, minimal viable product development and start-up success metrics.

While the group is in NYC, they will have the opportunity to visit the United Nations, meet with alumni from their private school who are living and working in NYC, exchange cultures and stories with local high school students, and tour the Columbia campus and NYC with local university students.
