This summer, 3 groups of high school girls participated in our TOPICKS programs at Smith College. Throughout the program, students were able to immerse themselves into the Smith culture, which has a strong emphasis on women’s leadership. Students enjoyed not only the amazing weather in New England, but also the gorgeous Smith campus. Students learned leadership in many aspects as they explored many fields of academics including music, history, literature, visual arts, and sciences as part of liberal arts education. Having Smith students as great role models of women leaders, students were able to actively engage in discussions and the public speaking workshop. They also had an opportunity to explore great cities such as Boston and New York City.
